Research Questions

research questions: 

1. The general topic that I am considering is how birth order in a family affects personality traits and outcomes.
2. Yes, I am truly fascinated in the topic. The reason is because I am the third girl with 2 older sisters and a younger brother. We are all different academically, athletically, emotionally, etc. 
3. A surprising fact about this topic that I have found was that first-borns were nominated as most achieving and most conscientious. Further questions I have are why and how can we test it? 
4. I have not seen any disagreements towards my topic. However, I could see why people do not believe that birth order plays a specific role in character development. 
5. Yes, the topic is researchable. There have been some studies that have been conducted to provide me with information. 
6. Some subtopics that have emerged in my research were how religion and parental guidance also affect a child’s personality. 
7. Some further questions include: What is the importance of birth order throughout life? How much parental attention fades away after each child? 
8. Some words include: personality, traits, third variable, parents, siblings.
