Wysocki

The article wysocki talks about the visual aspect of literature and how by saying a word the reader will immediately know what the author is talking about. For instance, if i say the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog, the reader knows what a fox and a dog look like so the scene is easy to picture. This can be extremely helpful in my writing because i often write about mythological or fantasy settings so i need to know that anything that people dont innately know must be described in great detail. Wysocki is also helpful in alerting us the the power of the written word as a medium for great description.
