Action Plan - Samantha Held

           Based off of the comments from the peer review done in class, I plan on further explaining my examples. Some of the remarks said that I should explain my examples better, such as clarifying who characters are and to continue to lengthen my explanations.  Before my next draft, I will go more in depth on my examples and link them to the overall topic of my essay. I will also add more characters to my analysis; on my first draft I only focused on one character and felt that I should expand on my character analysis. Characterization is how I will show some of the differences between the novel and the movie, and I will link this to the overall topic of my essay. Also, before the next draft I will discuss how the different mediums of the story could affect the overall message of it. Such as how time restraints of a movie could hinder how well certain aspects of the plot are explained. However, the feedback provided said that I should also go more in depth in certain places in my essay. I am apprehensive about this because I do not want to summarize the novel and/or the movie. I do feel like I should explain more examples, but I also think that the explanation could become too much like a summary. Because of this, I will further explain some elements of my paper, but I will avoid summarizing the novel and/or film. Thanks to the peer review done in class, I feel more confident about my paper and about what needs to be added to it.
