Lessig remix

The idea that this book is based off of, that the new traditions and actions of this current culture is to “remix” everything. I found it interesting that there are new markets developing and people basing this new culture as a market for new ideas that allows the consumer to interact with the item sold (ie a song).  I find it interesting that with such strict laws, such as copy rights, this remix culture is still able to prosper and continue similar to the past cultures that took old folk stories and added details to them. Although the time and the source is different (ie mass media/ produced compared to the oral stories told) there still is similarities and the remix method is continuing even with the blockages from laws and it allows artists to continue to profit too.
