Subversion and Redemption - Samantha Held
Overall, I enjoyed this text. I found it comical how Adam Mansbach based his adult book on children and it became a hit; his book, GTFTS, is a subversive version of a book used to help children fall asleep. I thought it was interesting how children were not always referred to as children, they were always small adults. Subversion and Redemption was also helpful for project three. I am taking my research topic and making it into a children's book, and the article gave insight on how to. It showed how to take take something that is generally made for one audience and change it.
