Subversion and Redemption

In this article, the new take on adults getting children to go to sleep is explained to help reiterate the act of a subversion.  I found it interesting that the subversion of a child's bedtime story was changed to focus to towards adults who had gone through similar feelings and experiences when trying to get their child to go to bed.  I find that the act of changing the obscurities and some of the themes in GTFTS to fit the child was interesting but it is the act of subverting and subversion.  This article helped me understand what a subversion is and understand the real examples of them that I have witnessed but never payed attention to, such as the change of Celo Green's song to fit the public and be played on the radio.  Overall, this article is interesting as it focuses on different subversion's, focusing on GTFTS, and highlights the differences in audience and topic.
