In the article "annoying ways", the author talks about what annoys readers while reading essays, why it annoys them, and how to fix it. I enjoyed this article because it explains common mistakes that writers make in essays and shows ways about how to fix it. The writer also used funny, creative examples to connect the reader to the mistake. Information that the author shared that I thought could help me was when he talked about how to properly insert a quotation. Not only do you have to lead up to a quote, but you also need to explain after why that quote was important in your essay. Also, how to properly mention a citation throughout your essay was helpful. Using a book versus a website or just a page number, etc. Basically, the author mentions how readers have annoyances. Individually, the annoyances vary and it can be different in every audience. However, a writer cannot avoid the annoyances. Every person has them but you can try your hardest to better your paper to please as many people as you can.
