Subversion and redemption

This article helped define what a subversion actually is for those who do not fully understand the concept. Most would not expect the language that was used therefore making it a subversion in the normal fairy tales. It helped take the topic of my research paper to convert it into something not as formal as the original but more appealing towards the humor side of the audience. The examples used really help better understand the idea behind subversion. I had never realized most children's books are actually subversion because I had never seen it that way. The history of the F word is something I had never paid much mind to and was interesting to read.
