In Annoying Ways,  a metaphor was made about slow drivers and sloppy uses of sources in writing. I was surprised by the light and informal tone of the article, and this made it an easy read towards the beginning. The writing slowly did become more informational and on topic as it continued. Stedman discusses on how the conventions of writing have a fundamentally rhetorical nature and includes tips for having perfect citations and punctuation in writing. He also makes comparisons including spiderman, and blinkers. Overall, it was a beneficial read and the metaphors made it more enjoyable.he conventions of writing have a
fundamentally
rhetorical
nature.
